Summer Kitchen
Our recently updated summer kitchen provides a convenient space for food preparation and setup, located directly beside the serving pavilion.
Serving Pavilion
The serving pavilion is attached to the summer kitchen and includes electrical access for roasters and crockpots. Guests must bring their own serving dishes.
Large Pavilion
Seats approximately 175 guests at wooden picnic tables, with additional comfortable outdoor furniture available for guest use
Outdoor Space
Our grounds offer a variety of spaces and activities for all ages. Guests can mingle in the courtyard area, enjoy a game of sand volleyball, or let kids play in the Octaball court, which also doubles as a safe play area for toddlers. For a cozy evening, gather around the firepit, or enjoy cornhole and other yard games. A short walk leads to the scenic French Creek, where guests can relax on the swing and maybe even spot an eagle.
Rental Fees & Group Sizes
Large Group: $260 (online payment) – Over 50 people with an 8-hour rental Example: Graduation parties, Church Picnics, etc. Check payment: $250
Small Group: $160 (online payment) – Under 50 people with a 6-hour rental Example: Family reunion, Anniversary party, etc. Check payment: $150
Weddings: $525 (online payment) Check payment: $500
Note: Rates above apply depending on method of payment. Online payments use the listed “online” rate; mailed checks receive the reduced rate as indicated.

Common Grounds provides a beautiful outdoor setting for weddings; however, we are not a full-service wedding venue. Wedding rentals include:

Additional Notes:
We have limited seating; renters may obtain extra tables and chairs from an outside source.
The Café Building is not included; however, you may inquire about availability.
If decorations or setup are desired a day prior, arrangements must be made with the Common Grounds staff.
Rental Agreement Info:
1. Mission and Priority
Common Grounds provides a safe, positive environment for the youth of Crawford County. Priority is given to events organized or sponsored by Common Grounds and its ministry partners. Public rentals are secondary. Common Grounds reserves the right to deny any rental contrary to its mission or values.
2. Rental Confirmation & Payment
Rental is confirmed only when rental fee is received either online or by check.
3. Facilities Included

Entire Outdoor Area
Weddings may also use the Café Building with prior written permission.
4. Parking
Parking is on the upper level. Limited lower-level parking is allowed. No vehicle may block the driveway, which is also used by private neighboring property owners.
5. Use of Facility & Equipment
The building will be unlocked at the start of the rental unless other arrangements are made.
The renter is responsible to ensure all doors are securely locked upon departure.
Sports/recreation equipment available upon request.
Renter must leave the facility in equal or better condition than arrival.
Renter Responsibilities:
Place garbage in dumpster
Clean and sweep kitchen areas
Return tables and chairs to original locations
Renter is responsible for all damages, lost, or broken items.
6. Cancellations
Renters must provide at least 60 days’ written notice to cancel.
Fees will not be refunded if cancellation occurs within 60 days of the event.
Common Grounds reserves the right to cancel for unforeseen circumstances, priority scheduling conflicts, or policy violations.
7. Prohibited Activities
No alcohol, drugs, tobacco, or non-tobacco products permitted.
All activities must be family-friendly and legal under Pennsylvania law.
PA Game Commission laws, rules, and regulations apply.
Excessive noise prohibited. Woodcock Township ordinance: loud noise must end by 10:00 PM.
8. Faith-Based Statement
Common Grounds is a Christian faith-based organization. While all are welcome, weddings may only be performed between a biologically born man and a biologically born woman. Rentals contrary to this policy may be refused.
9. Liability & Compliance
Renter agrees to comply with all Common Grounds rules and policies, assumes full responsibility for any damage, injury, or loss during the event, and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Common Grounds, its staff, and affiliates.
